3 Fermented foods to try, to get you that bloody healthy glow.

Say whaa?! Yea, you heard me.

If you are like me and have consistent difficulties trying to poop and actually clear the whole schedule of your entire day when you feel a poo coming, read on and thank me later. Increasing the good bacteria in your gut, with food packed with probiotics will not only help your digestion but also boost your immunity, detoxify you and have a positive influence on your mood by producing more of the neurotransmitter serotonin.

1. The Holy Kimchi

I love Kimchi. I have to warn you though, I am German and therefore hardcore with fermented foods; we get raised on this stuff. My cousin had a taste for Lego bricks when he was tiny and the only way he ever shat them back out was by eating Sauerkraut . Anyway, give Kimchi ago. You can add it to your rice or noodle bowls or eat it with some yummy salad. This will definitely sort out any bloating or pooping issues you have. Just don't eat a whole jar at once, or you can cancel what you had planned for the rest of the week and place a mattress next to the toilette.

2. Kombucha

This "Immortal Health Elixir" as it is known by the Chinese is a beverage made out of black tea and sugar. After it ferments, Kombucha becomes rich in b-vitamins, enzymes and probiotic acid which link to the following benefits:

Improved Digestion
Weight Loss
Increased Energy
Cleansing and Detoxification
Immune Support
Reduced Joint Pain
Cancer Prevention

You can make Kombucha yourself at home, or buy it at most health food stores.

3. Sauerkraut, obvs.

Okay, it doesn't look like a pizza but it is yummy once you get used to it.
Sauerkraut is essentially just salt and cabbage fermented and tastes wonderful in salad or next to a hearty winter stew. The health benefits of Sauerkraut are similar to Kimchi and thanks again Mr Sauerkraut for helping my cousin poop out all those Lego bricks.  So what are you waiting for? Get your Lederhosen on and get yourself some damn Sauerkraut.

There you go, you're spoiled rotten.
